*** Address BFDCA312 base at BFD9700, DateStamp 3ac09bb6-ALCXWDM.SYS

STARTING PHYSICAL MEMORY DUMP # (the # is where it does count from 0-100)

then in restarts and does a memory dump save. takes a few mins and machine is almost non-respondant.

I started having this problem in this version of Emu, was fine b4, not sure if it's the Emu or just a compatabilty issue from one of VI's patches.

Keep up the great work , this is fast becoming the best thing I've seen in almost 3 yrs.
Thx a million Dev's for all your hard work

wtf is myworld2.dyndns.org

you need to use your real IP and leave the 127.0.0.1 saying 127.0.0.1 in boot5zones.bat,

Quote:
@echo off
start zoneNT . YourIP 7995 127.0.0.1
start zoneNT . YourIP 7996 127.0.0.1
start zoneNT . YourIP 7997 127.0.0.1
start zoneNT . YourIP 7998 127.0.0.1
start zoneNT . YourIP 7999 127.0.0.1
exit
cls

Dyndhs is a free dns service, and using your dns name instead of your ip is just fine (at least on linux) assuming your machine does name-address resolution correctly. I agree with Shawn though, you should try your actual ip than your dynamic dns name. If this works, I would replace your ip in the 1st field with your dns name again, but leave the last field as localhost (127.0.01.) . Using dns is advntageous, if it works you dont have to change your.bat file whenever your ip address changes, you let dns take care of that for you.

I've run my linux server using that method for a long while with no issues. but never used it on my windows server (my windows box has a static subnet ip, so no reason too).

Try it this this way 1st, then try it the second way..

start zoneNT [numneric ip] 7990 127.0.0.1

if that works, try it like this

start zoneNT . myworld2.dyndns.org 7990 127.0.0.1

If the 2nd works, its your best bet. You dont have to change you bat file everytime you loose your lease...

I haven't had a problem using my dns address on this or any other emulator (I ran a UO shard for over 2 yrs. 197 accts.)
It was working fine with EqEmu too.
I'll give it a shot and see if it helps

Thx for quick repies
