Default Forum Suggestion

This is kind of off topic for this board, but I'm not quite sure where I should post it. I just had a suggestion, that I think a lot of people would benefit from. I just realized looking up in the corner of the screen that I had had an unread forum PM in queue for over 3 months. Is there any way we can make it more evident and obvious when we have unread PMs?

C++ is wonderful.

theres an option in edit options:

Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up :
If you are browsing the forums when you receive a new private message, the system can pop-up a notification box informing you of the new message.

Well I meant something like phpbb, where the message is completely different when you have a new message, instead of it just going from 0 unread to 1 unread. I hate popups :/
