hey i was just wondering if you need eq1 to do this could i just download the Everquest:trilogy would it work with that and also will there be one for everquest 2 . thanks

Doing a simple search about this will yield you the answer, as this has been asked numerous times. Any version of EQ fresh out of any box will not work, and any version that was patched after december 14th, 2004 will also not work. Until EQemu is updated to EQlive, you will have to wait.
