Minilogin for not only LAN

I was wondering if you could setup minilogin to be used as a private login server for people outside of your network. And for with people with dynamic IP's would it work for me to put their DynDNS.org hostname rather than IP? Or does it only look at the incoming IP?

Oh well, guess I'll stop there haha... thanks ahead of time.
