Default No items in vendor windows

Hello all, I've gotten most of my issues ironed out by digging in the forums and around the web, and can log in to the EQEmu server now.

Biggest problem I'm having is the vendor "interface" window. When I right click on a vendor, the window comes up, but it's... deformed, for lack of a better word, and only shows a Buy button, and no items appear in the window. I'm assuming the vendor is populated, because I get the typical dialogue "Hello, <name>, would you be interested in purchasing <badger spit, etc.> today?" This happens regardless of which server I log in to.

I'm guessing it's a client issue, but wondered if just loading a different UI will correct the problem. If anyone else has had this problem and fixed it, feel free to let me know what you did. TIA!

As I recall, Sony has recently made a new merchant window which is similar to the EQ2 one, I think. Anyway, if you have recently patched to live and then used your own backpatch or whatever means to get back to a working version, you may still have the Live Compat. Merchant UI window.

You should be able to download an old UI from eqinterface.com and use the merchant window from that.

Thanks for the quick replies.

The new merchant window is the most likely culprit. I have several old UI skins that I've played around with in the past, so I'll try just copying over the vendor window xml file and see if that fixes it.

Edited to add: That was the problem. Works great now
