Default Just Wondering

I just found this site and I noticed that it said...

Quote:
DO NOT PATCH ON 9/13 OR LATER - 9/13 EQ Patch Breaks 0.6.2 (Which we are freezing on)
If I play live everyday (which I do) is it even possable to get started on a server here?

Jwalking isnt against this community's rules and wont result in this community being shut down, so feel free to j-walk just dontdiscuss handing out copywrited files.

I *think* it was his attempt to discredit the community rules by proving its ok to break the law.

Jesus...image is the only one to not make a spelling error in this thread.

Somone needs to add the Spell Check Mod to the forums for people like you guys!

because SOE owns the files and can do what they want with them, you don't own them and don't have SOE's permit ion to hand them out.

If you can get SOE to give you permit ion IN WRITING then we would all grovel at your feet and allow you to hand them out. Till then, you don't have to understand, its Illegal wether you understand or not.

woops

sorry, guess I joked around about the wrong topic. I didn't mean to ruffle so many feathers.

Perfect quote from another site: it's immature pricks who refuse to read the numerous stickies in every forum pointing out what to do and what not to do that get flamed. Noone said anything about copywritten files I was just reffering to stupid laws, not saying anyone should break them. NOr would I suggest anyone break your community laws. Anyway no reason to be a jerk, I would rather not be a member of any community with people like that.

So heres another perfect quote: Kiss my ass?

Theres a difference.
If you jaywalk, most likely nothing would happen.
If this became a place for EQ Warez, EQEMu most likely would be shut down, much like Scorpious2k and Winter's Roar which have been shut down and did, notably, have patchers (not saying that was the cause, I do not know the facts well enough)
