NPC's dont do anything

I have a minilogin server eqemu 0.6.3. And i have tried both cavedudes and peq databases but everything is fine but npc's that are threatingly or ready to attack dont attack even if im level 1. Also the guards dont attack monsters all they do is stand or walk. Every EqEmu server i have been on has working monsters and guards. Could this problem happen because i didnt install Perl only mysql.

you have to have the map files for LOS otherwise they just gonna stand there

Thanks i thought the map files was the map using Backspace. I never realized it had anything npc related.

Don't use your cartography maps for the server-side maps. There are separate maps in the CVS section that you will need to obtain for that.

I don't have the link off-hand, but you may find it in either the wiki or somebody posting it here.

what about when you hail an npc. There was a server named Trancendence that when you hail npcs they talk

that will require perl and having the quests in the quests folder ... also when you run your zone.exe you need to run zoneperl.exe instead.
