I would like to add something I found at the RIAA website and share my theory about them. Please, comments, ideas, additional theories you would like to add and flames are welcomed.

It seems to me like a creative tale. On the one hand, that would explain their desperate initiative against piracy. But theres always that multi(tril?)billion dollar industry that causes that initiative also.

I think its just money. Thats all.
