Connection issues

well i seem to be having a problem with EQemu,
ive followed every how to play guides and searched around in threads but i keep coming up with the same problem.

The game will connect and take me to the server window, after i click a server and hit connect it freezes and nothing happens afterwards , i could sit for hours and nothing will happen.

any idea's on how to solve this? running Titanium, and tried the 0.7.0 thing , but i seem to be missing something.

help anyone?

If you have titanium and you follow this guide, that must work :

If don't work it is a problem with your pc :( perhaps router/firewall)

firewall is down and still nothing , it has to be soemthing with the game.... i downloaded the version check , said current version was not compatable ....

when will a version of EQemu thats compatable with the live patch be available?

You're using the Mini-login or EQEMU servers?
You have a fresh installed store-bought Titanium version UNPATCHED by Sony?

Seems a lot of people are having this problem all of a sudden, myself included. I just tried to connect, as soon as I get into the server list everything comes up normally, then about 2 seconds into it eqgame.exe crashes. It doesn't make a difference if a server was selected or not, or anything else clicked on. Trying a quick login to bypass the server list doesn't do anything either, same issue still.

Last time I was logged in I had a peaceful camp and closed everything normally. Then this. It isn't an issue with the server software running either as that hasn't made an impact on the list causing a crash.

Is it possible someone's server name has an unsupported character or something along those lines? From the smell of this there's something fishy going on in the process going from the login server to the actual world server, or just before.

*edit: For clarification, I'm using a fresh off the shelf install of titanium. Never connected to EQLive, no changes (known) since last successful run. By 'crash' I mean I get a standard windows 'Send Error Report/Don't Send' .exe screwed up message.

Just tried logging in again and no problem. Issue seems to have resolved itself with no changes locally to me. If I had to put money on it I'd guess there's a kink in the emu chain somewhere.
