Sebilis
I was playing last night, when a friend zoned into sebilis on my server and it crashed her. Went and looked, no sebilis.cfg file! I had been to sebilis before, but not sure how without that file. Checked my zip file, no sebilis.cfg??? WTF? LOL! Any idea what happened?

There are only cfg files for zones that someone went and collected the info with the cfgcollector on live EQ. This is very much like why there isn't all the uber item in the items table, no one collected the info yet.
If you don't have a cfg file for a given zone, some default values are used. This is normal and expected. I would expect you will find another reason why your friend crashed.

Gotcha, haven't tried loading it again myself, it probably would work fine. Another question though, I was browsing the forums and found a post from Kaiyodo saying he'd added a bunch of stuff including Dual Wield. That was back in February, but also on an older version. Just wondering if that code somehow got lost in the shuffle or something, cause I'd really like to be able to use two weapons. As usually, GREAT job so far everyone

I have been creating SK's lately, but I remember making a warrior and equiping 2 weapons. Off the top of my head I can't say if they actually attacked with both though.
You must be the proper class, level and have the skill before it will work (just like live EQ)

a fix for the setallskill and setskill command is out but it require that you know how to compile the zone.exe ( and dont ask everyone with what and how to compile the zone if you dont know )

/nod, anyone mind posting the compiled zone.exe with setskill and setallskill fixed for dual wield then? I don't have a C compiler on my computer and would hate to have to install one right now just for this, though I do plan on getting back into things soon and helping out with the emu if I can find the time. IRL responsibilities /shrug

Thanks for trying, but unfortunately it crashes on me. It all seems fine until after the character select screen. As soon as you get in a zone you go LD and ZoneNT.exe crashes. No error message from ZoneNT.exe either, the last thing you see is 'Sending door spawns... done.'. No further messages. Put my old one back in, and zones load fine again. I did notice your file is double the size of mine, not sure if maybe there's a different way to compile it or something. Anyway, thanks for trying and guess I'm just going to have to wait like everyone else for the next emu version to be able to use my dual wield classes and most of the other skill lackage hindering the other classes. Just curious, any ETA on the next official release, even if minor enough to fix #setskill and #setallskill?

LOL actually that's not too bad a thing, we just got Visual Studio .NET at work last week so I'll just snag it tomorrow and compile it myself. Did you have to do anything special to get the source code to compile in .NET or did it compile just fine? Thanks bro.

I dont have VC6 so I cant tell you but for VC .NET I just had to update some includes ( like mysql.h include stuff ) about 3 lines I would say thats it , that was to compile the zone, I didnt try for the world but it should be the same
