I know for sure I cant find this around... but I play on EQLIVE now and want to mess around on emulation as well...

how do I install 2 copies of everquest? one for emu one for live...
when I put the CDs in it only lets me mod/repair the existing installation?

Simply direct the second installation to another folder (ie: rename the first to something else so it is not overwritten):

directory to mine is something like:

Program Files
-Sony
**EqLan
---emu files
**Everquest
---current stuff

Just make sure to redirect your shortcuts to the proper folders.

EQ is actually one of the few program that does not require to be "installed". What I mean by this is that after you have installed EQ once as long as you keep a full backup copy of the installation folder (commonly C:\Program Files\Everquest\) You can just copy this folder back to your Hard Drive and EQ will work with out having been "installed" again. What this means is that you can Copy your Everquest Folder to another location on the Hard Drive (say C:\EqEmu\Client\Everquest\) and use that to play on the emulator and use your original Installed copy to play on live. Granted you will need to have compatable Titanium default binaries in your EQ Emulator directory in order to be able to play on the server. I hope this make sense to you because it all seems so clear to me. . .

I have similar worries, as my dad plays Everquest EVERY DAMN DAY, and if something happens to it, I'm dead. So let's hope this works, you and I.
