Default One (hopefully small) problem...

I just downloaded the newest build of the emulator 992 I believe, and I've seemed to of run into a snagg...

The server boots up fine, everything appears to be normal and in working order.

I load the client (titanium as per request...) login, everything still appears normal. get to the character select screen and click enter world, eq loads as though entering the game. Bam im in the zone, I can move around and things. I cannot use commands( I test #help) and quests(hail) don't work.

However serverside the zone crashes. I'll pull what I can from the logs.

I have tried the 992 build and the 991 build (the logs are from the 991)
I am running mysql 5.0.33 and the newest ax_peq database.

I have looked at the change logs and the required sql and checked my database and the tables they are referring to are in there.

I do know that the latest ax_peq server pack uses the innodb and not myisam. I'm not sure if thats the problem (don't see how it could be as everything else loads fine.)

(note: 1. I have tried as a gm and not as a gm. My status is 250.)
(note: 2. I changed the last two values in the defualt rule set to allow the zone [much] longer to load before assuming it is not loading)

hopefully someone can help me out here, haha im dying w/o my eq...

Edit: I fixed it (some how or another...) I believe it was due to the op_codes and such...

BTW where is the edit button post? I searched all over for it... I couldn't find it :-(

The edit button is only available for a little bit after you post. I dont know the specific time, but its gone after awhile.

As to your game timeing out, I would assume since you changed your connection time out setting. This I have found to be due to the following lines in your eqemu_config.xml file

When these are active, I have noticed it takse a longer time to connect, sometimes not connecting at all, so I changed mine to this, as I have been told these are not needed anyhow.

adding the <!-- and --> to the ends of the lines to null them out. Hopefully that helps you with the connection issues.

Currently I use no-ip to server my ip address, I edited the windows host file and such. Now inside the <address> tag I have my.no-ip.com address and <localaddress> I have my 192.168.x.x address.

Not quite sure but I believe I read that some where.

Somehow or another I managed to get in to the world and my friend is able to connect via my no-ip.com address.

It seems I got it to work, how I'm not really too sure but it works...
