Didn't want to hijack Abhorsen's thread, so thought I would start my own. I am an old school EQ'r. I started playing in Beta 3 when a friend of mine that I worked with handed me a cd at work one day. I started a gnome mage and from that point on was hooked. I was a founding member of EQ-Online.com, where I went by the name of "Banshee" (you'd have to be an old schooler to remember that site).
I worked with Wraith and Nix for a number of months to bring the content out to our website when EQ was in beta, and into release. I remember the website going down when we posted an AVI of 10 minutes of EQ beta footage. Those were the good old days.
I played EQ for a number of years. I left, as most did it seems, around the Luclin expansion. I came back at PoP. But the game was just not the same.
In those years since EQ I have learned alot about SQL, and programming in general. I should have a copy of Titanium today and will start playing the game (and playing with the database!

Very excited to see what has been done in the Emu community, and hopefully contribute to it.
