Default Light of Luclin

Hey all, just started my first server. As this is my first try i'm not sure if i got everything right, i'm able to play myself, but noone else has come on yet so i'm not sure if anyone can lol. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could try and let me know the results.

So far
- Mobs adjusted for solo play
- Spell scriber and buffer added
- Loot tables randomized
- Started work on changing many bard songs

As Luclin was my favorite expansion i'm going to be focusing there alot. Going to have higher end raid mobs drop custom items that resemble their strenghts/abilities. First one of these is already implemented with The Itraer Vius.

Suppose I either messed up during setup, or the routers here at school are hindering it somehow (beyond my control). Thanks for the reply and the assistance

when peeople can connect i will try it out , so if u need asstiance with anytihng just hell , not expercied or we , with Deving but can give it a try if u wanan trust me

Server is now accepting players besides myself All are welcome to try it out. Lots of changes have been made and are being worked on.

- Loot tables randomized, item strength based on mob level
- Necro pets and spells improved
- Ranger spells improved
- Enabled Bots
- Luclin + LoY open

Things being worked on
- Bard songs
- Cleric spells
- General server maintenance
- Class balance

I'll provide updated spells when I've finished working on them all. Necro pets will look like humans, depending on the zone the character is in. To view the pets, need to forceload the models (update the zone_chr.txt for each zone). To do this in the eq directory find (zonename)_chr.txt for the zone you want to see the updated pets in and add.

also update the number in the first line, add 16 to whatever it is. For those uninterested I can provide the ones i've done (most of them) by email... or nothing wrong with human pets.... lol

You could also distribute a global load file
(NOT WAREZ DON'T HURT ME MODS, UNLESS A 5KB TEXT FILE IS WAREZ)
and have the pets loaded into global client memory.

Though, gotta be careful with that, the client rejects some global load files

Any hints on making a global file? Originally that was what I tried, but I couldn't get it working

Correct me if i'm wrong, but...

Check GlobalLoad.txt in the "Resources" Folder.
Add a line like this:
Code:
3,0,TFFFC,podisease_chr,Loading Plane of Disease Global Models
In the 3.0 section of that file. You can also use the S3D files you make in openzone to be loaded this way to be used as global objects... however i'd put them at the end of the line if they were non-character objects.

Let me on dangit lol i keep trying to load your server but it boots me back to user name/password login screen cant connect its too bad your server sounds like a hoot

Well this seems like it may be interesting....
Your Server shows on the ServerList but i also am haveing problems connecting if you were online i could help you work through the ishues

I've been trying like hell the past few days to get it so anyone can log on... I found a mistake i made while forwarding the ports hopefully that was what wasn't allowing others on.

lol i am glad you can its not even on my server list will this server be 24/7 or just a few hours each day?
