The world of Alakamin is ready.

Hello, the world of Alakamin is pretty much gtg now, maybe some raid difficulty tweaks on the way but for now it's fairly ready.

alakamin.makeforum.org is the site with discussion, and information, and eventually statistics will be posted on there.

As other emu servers, we are always under development, but the server should run for a few days at a time without needing to be reset for updates at this point.

now for the tasty bits

What is it?

Well it's based on Cavedude's PEQ database. However I have run the item database through some pretty aggresive sql scripts and created a system where everything has some value, so those thousands of random worthless items you pick up while playing will have some value.

Another note : Almost all items are tradable.

Fabled items are also available, but rare from the regular versions of the fabled npcs that would have dropped them.

Since the beta ended (around a week ago), aproximately 300 characters have been created on the server, and 10-15 people are on at any given time.

"mr wee" type suggestion creators please give me your ideas, i can "mr wee" too but I have a short list of things i'm actually working on. it is fun to discuss...

mainly I want to create an environment that a small community can thrive.. IE not relying on players to purchase loots (hence my pricing scheme on items) etc etc.

most of the major exploits have been smashed, i'm always looking to discover more so I can fix them. please let me know if you break something, and it makes you rich ! i'll let you keep what you get if you tell me, but if i catch you, i delete your toon or gear, depending on severity of what you are doing
