Default Couple Bugs...Please help

Hello,

For some reason my game always starts in windowed mode, so I change to full screen in options. Unfortunately that really zooms the aspects of the game. My buddy has the game, and it starts with a perfect screen, no corrections needed. Also, if I mess with the game options befor entering, the game goes black. It seems to freeze. Please help...especially with the screen...all boxes are too close with not much gaming picture because of it.

Thanks

Kind of a pain but the best suggestion I have is to try a full uninstall/reinstall from the disc set. I had a similar problem, game would not go to full screen without crashing, when I tried copying the EQ folder from one of my older computers to a new one. The only way I was able to fix it was with a reinstall from the disc set.

Try making a copy of the eqclient.ini file then deleting the one in the eq directory and then load the game and resetup the settings. generally works for me when this happens.
