I've been playing on this Da Pirate's Cove server for awhile now and I've got to say its pretty fun. It's a progression style on a more personal level. Progression is individual based rather than server based.

Well the basic storyline is that you're a stowaway on this pirate ship, and you can join them and rise through the ranks of a pirate. Or you could just run off and kill things for no apparent reason other than to satisfy some morbid desire.

Yes, the server is custom and is still in working progress. There are a few bugs still in game I'm sure, but I've not run into any more than one or two that has already been corrected. More zones to be added soon. So, if you're still looking for a server out there, you should stop on by and play for a couple of days and I'm sure you'll appreciate what has been done.

PS I've also found this server isn't for cowards. As most of the zone is a dungeon style ... there is no where to run. However, as a ranger I can pretty much just root things and pray my Compass of Return goes off before my root breaks lol!

I wish I could try this server but I can't get past the server selection screen... Anyone else getting the same issue (error 1017) with this server?

There are a few things that can cause a 1017 error such as you not having the right EQemu so I would actually google the error and check out people who have had these problems and see how they fixed it. I'm sure there are topics on this forum that might have an explanation on it as well. I would help you out more, but I've been fortunate enough to never come across this error.

Ok after my last post I've run into that infamous 1017 error .. maybe I should have knocked on wood eh? Anyway, now I'm getting the error for JUST this server. So I'm going to look into it and see how we can fix this problem.

Ok well it was a server side problem easily fixed with a restart .... you shouldn't have any problems logging into this server anymore

but if you do Kensler82 on yahoo hotmail or aim so add me if you need any help
