Default Problem with Mysql connection w/GeorgeTool

I can't connect to MySql using any of georgeS server tools. I can connect to it from my command line but whenever I try and connect with his things it doesn't work. I DL'ed his connection test and I can't connect with that either ( but the connection exists ). Any ideas?

Make sure you downloaded and installed MyODBC from his site. Also, make sure you ran the register_ocx.bat in the resource directory from the tool. The only other thing is you have to configure the db.ini file to connect to your database.

Did all of it, forgot to download the connector drivers. The test connection is success now but I still can't run any of the programs =\ DB file is correct and I've run the registry BAT.

Are you running the tools on the same PC as mysql and the server are running on, or are you running them remotely? You need to adjust some things to get remote access to MySQL working properly.

Have you tried setting up Navicat and verified that it can connect? If Navicat works, then GeorgeS tools will work with the same config. My guess is that you have something set wrong in the db.ini file.
