Default crashing need help please!

Hello
I have successfully set up eqemu for minilogin without any errors
but when I start eqw and put in 'eqemu' for name and password
it crashes saying eqgame.exe has performed an illegal operation.

Im using windows 98
My emu version 0.3.3.1
I'm using the latest version of eqw
my comp is a p2 333 with 352megs of ram.

I saw someone else's message about something similar happening and it was suggested they download a newer version of minilogin.exe which I did but still the same problem.

Any idea why this is happening?

Not sure if this helps or not but the first time i tried using eqemu last night, when i put in name and pass at the eq login screen i got 'incorrect version pls run the patcher'. So, i ran the patcher and it downloaded eqmain.dll, it was after that the crashes started. I also deleted the dll and tried patching again but it didnt help any. (and yes i am changing eqhost.ini to what it should be each time i try a minilogin)

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

If you patched, then you can no longer use 3.3.1 No way around it unless you have a backed up copy of EQ from when you were running 3.3.1

Only 3.4 supports the current EQ patches. And you need to get the updated minilogin-jun-1 file from the files section.
