New Server Idea
I had a server up for a little while, Pelican's Paradise, and really enjoyed it, but I had to take it down because the D2 loot editor was adding in 4x the loot I wanted monsters to have and I could not find a way to fix it. I have been wanting to make a new server, but I don't want to scrap all the work I have put into Pelican's Paradise if there is no point to it. I am thinking about making a server where there would be a very slow exp rate and a max level of like 10, but I would make it more gear based. I would have a bunch of custom zones where all monsters were lower levels and dropped custom loot, there would be custom spells for casters, and then lower the levels on AAs for ranges 1-10.
I think it might be fun, but I want to know what everyone else thinks about a server like this, or if there has been one like it that failed miserably.
