Reload this Page i can't even change the eqhost.txt file :(

Support::General Support Post all topics here having to do with errors while trying to connect to an EQEMu server but not about the setup/running of the Server itself.

Default i can't even change the eqhost.txt file :(
when i do, and hit file->save, it says the path may be invalid and that it can't save. no form of saving the file works. not even making a brand new one and dragging it into the folder. any ideas? :[

What OS are you using? You may not have permission to write to the folder.

I just did this on my new machine with Vista. Fresh SoF install.

Try right clicking eqhost.txt, Properties, Security tab, and granting yourself Full Control. I couldn't edit the file until I made this change.
