Effects on Items

Hi all ive just been toying around with worn effects on items, i notcied that all items are worn type 2. i created my own item with a cleave V effect on it and i have noticed that i still critting the same amount has befor. Any ideas?

hmm the reference to "worn type 2" have never come up before. I have no idea what it does and how it differs from other types.

I have a few custom items with worn effects on them. You should change your effect to something that you can test. For example: Try effect 3660 (Faerune). You can test this by taking the item off/on underwater. If that works, then you know you have it right. As for Cleave, it might be ignored somehow by the Crit % chance rules in the rule_values table.

ahh right thanks. other effects work, tried serpants sight and worked perfectly. thanks anyway
