Default Question about eqhost.txt contents...

OK, I just started working with this yesterday and have not tried to connect to the public servers yet because I'm a little confused about the eqhost.txt file. I'm not completely clear on what the file should say within its contents because the file contents listed from the version of it in the Miscellaneous Files section is different from that listed in the readme.html file that came with the 0.3.5 build of the emulator. So my question then is this: Is the readme file right, or is the file in the Miscellaneous Files section right, or are neither of them right? In short, what is REALLY supposed to be in there?

I'd appreciate any help you can give, thanks.

Mor'Loki

P.S. Does 0.3.5 work with the August 14 and August 19 patches? I was wondering about that too. Thanks again .

this is what should be in your eqhost.txt:

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
"eqlogin2.eqemu.net:5999"
}

just copy and paste that right in there, and yes the 3.5 stuff works with those patches, (or at least for me)

Actually they both work, the file under misc. is just using the ip address and not eqemu.net, which is what the readme states.
