Default Permission to talk in OOC

I just discovered I do not have permission to talk in OOC at this time. I am a GM, 255, on my own damn server.

I checked the "rule" for Chat:ServerWideOOC set to true, but I do not see anything telling me I can or cannot talk on OOC (which is a great mute, btw )

I'm assuming this might have something to do with the new(ish) UCS, which is running tho I no longer see the log spam that so and so is connecting, getting karma or whatever... could this be the problem?

TIA
J

Edit: WOW... I'm stupid. Ok, a player just had to tell me I needed to be > level 5 to chat, on any server. Sooo, ignore this

~blush~

Took me a few minutes to figure this out myself.

In the rule_values table:

Chat:GlobalChatLevelLimit

If you want to change it in the future!

That's interesting that GM status doesn't allow a bypass to this.

nilbog, thanks for the tip. I think I am missing a bunch of rules perhaps. Also I see tons of rules in error when my world starts, can't find blahdeeblah. Someday I'll figure out what this means. Maybe old rules that are no longer in the code?

Anyway, thanks again.
