Default Going LD after I log in

On _almost_ every server I log in I go LD about 45 seconds after I enter the game. What ever the left most of the two meter/counters is called (I've never played EQ on a live server, so I am not aware of what these are called) counts from 1-2 (at which point it is green I believe) to 80 (it turns red when it is near 30) and I drop from the server. There have been a few servers where this has not happend but on all of them except one there are absolutely no spawns what so ever to be found. The exception to this has been once last night when I was able to zone into (and stay on) the server Forever Hacking Server. Normally this server boots me like all others, but at some point last night I was able to log in it and I appeared in some sort of pvp area that looked some what like a dirt race track (it was called the arena I think) and there were a few other players in there as well.

I am running EverQuest Trillogy patched with the latest patch
also I have clicked the advanced tab and checked off everything except the optional zones box (I only did this earleir today and have recived the same results as before I downloaded these other updates)

For what its worth I am able to connect to my own EthernalQuest server (yes, I know this is not the site for that emu) and it works for me. Has anyone else had a similiar problem with EqEmu or am I doing something completely wrong?

open up datarate.txt in your EQ dir and change the 5.0 default value to 7.0
