Default Everyone loses hot buttons when they zone

It's not client side, everyone on my server loses hot buttons when they zone. Using latest EQ emu bots code and latest PEQ database.

I attempted to search the forums for an answer using 'lost hot buttons' and have found no help for this issue from searching, thus, the post.

Thanks!

Default No ideas?

perhaps I am missing some hot botton or hot key table or something on server side? Can someone in the know tell me where all this info is stored and I will make sure I have it sourced in right.

Yeah, if you have special characters in your shortname, it might cause a problem like that. All hotkey and other UI settings are stored in files in the client EQ folder named after the shortname of your server. For example, files for players on my server would be named something like UI_Trevius_stormhaven.ini and so on. If you have a period or slash or something in the name, it will screw up that file and won't save properly, so UIs will never save. It is best to just have the shortname set to all lower case with letters only and no spaces.
