Default Pathing/Glitchyness

My server is running pretty much basic settings with the newest build.

Is it natural to have such strange pathing/general glitchiness in the game. It's not really that bad, and I seem to remember the game having those issues back in the day.

For instance;
Highkeep, monsters often pop and teleport through walls if you run from them.

Aviak village in S. karana, other players/pets/monsters appear to be falling off/teleporting back up the ramps.

Also, there is no clear spinning motion, it's constantly about 4 or 5 ticks to make a 360 on other people's screens.

Also, often, when monsters are far into the distance, they will teleport across the landscape at their roaming speed.

Obviously these are bearable, but is there something this can be attributed to and possibly corrected?

Likely, your map files are either missing or in the wrong folder.

Either that or you're having multi-core issues (see http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/showthread.php?t=25327 for fixes for that).
