Default Problem with SOD Update and Spells

Hey guys,

I'm playing on a private server (running with SoD) - everything was going fine until for some reason my steam client updated itself automatically. Now whenever a spell is casted on myself i shoot forward and no spell is actually casted on me. At times i even fall..

I'm guessing its something to do with the update or the spells_us file, but any information would be helpful.

Cheers

Make a copy of your install and move it out of the steam directory(should have done this before but do it now so it doesnt happen again). The spell issue seems to fixed however, you will only be able to play now on servers that are running the latest rev and have the latest opcodes and since the new client isnt fully functional yet you will probably run into many other issues with it.

It has to do with the new client. We've been working on spells.

That said unless you're a bard at the moment spells work pretty well with the most current svn code. Bards are always a bit odd and a bit behind of course but I'm working on them too.
