Default Evequest Close Problem
Whenever I try to load EQ it always says "eqgame has encountered an error and needs to shutdown" how do I fix this because I can't even get to the first screen.

If it is the first time you are running it after you've installed, make sure your desktop resolution is something like 1024x768, 1280x1024, or 1600x1200. After you get through the initial configuration you can set the desktop back to how you normally have it.

The initial setup doesn't work well with widescreen resolutions that didn't exist back in the old days.
