Don't Post You Passords

		I know it doesn't seem that big of a deal, but even for your own local servers, NEVER post or tell anyone your passwords. No one needs that information. It's perfectly okay to include something like this in a post:

Password=XXXXXX

and we know what it means.

The other day I called Earthlink about one of my accounts. At one point the Tech ask me "is the password the same?" I say "yes" then pause because I wasn't going to give him the password although he works at Earthlink. He notices my pause then trying to be helpful reads off carefully the password to me. I confirm that it is correct. This was all done over the phone. SCORE!
The nice Earthlink guy just gave out a password to a master cracker. Ok, it was my account and my password, but he really didn't know that for a fact.

99% of cracks are not done through skill, but by using "tricks of the trade" which I won't get into, but NEVER post or give your password to someone.

Protect your password like you should have protected your virginity. Enough said.
