Default Easiest way to get missing Underfoot files?

Does anyone know what the easiest way to get the missing Underfoot files is? I have the CDs up to LDoN but the installer don't seem to work on 64bit. Is there a way to get them from the CDs?

I was going to patch from live servers but I don't know how. I run eqgame.exe and it says to run Everquest.exe but there is no Everquest.exe file with the Underfoot pack! I tried running eqgame.exe with the "patchme" shortcut (using the address for the live servers) but that bypasses the patcher.

I'm pretty short on bandwidth so I don't really want to download an entire pack of files, just the missing ones.

You'll need an actively subscribed live account to patch, but you would want to run launchpad.exe I believe. If that doesn't work, you can download the live installer from SOE and use that to get the files if you have a subscribed account.

For a while the launchpad via steam was letting updates happen even with expired accounts. Just tried it again and it is no longer patching before logging in the account, ah well.

To answer the OP, almost all of the missing files are PoP or earlier files and should be on any install collection from Platinum on. My Platinum and Titanium CD's install just fine on my Windows 7 64-bit box so I do not know what your issue is with installing your copy.
Looking at this list, it seems you only need to locate a few files once you manage to install your old discs.

I wrote up a bit of info on my forums that might be helpful in answering your question:

Also, as far as I know, the UF from Steam should have Everquest.exe. Maybe you just missed it somehow in how you sorted files, but you should be able to do a search for it and find it at least.

Thanks for the replies. I was able to install the files from my Velious->LDoN CDs on my 64bit Windows. It was only the original game where the installer didn't work for me. I thought for a bit that the installer on the latter discs wouldn't run if I didn't have the original EQ installed but they worked fine.

I checked again and I didn't have Everquest.exe with my UF download from steam. After manually transferring files I thought screw it and just got the remaining ones from the patcher. Not sure why I didn't run launchpad.exe earlier.

Thanks guys.
