Lavastorm broken?

I was on EZ Server today and walked from neriak to Lavastorm and when I zoned in I was in lava and couldn't move.

And then i tried zoning in from the teleporter, where you get all your goodies and i zoned in again into lava, but there were tons of npcs in the same spot with me that time.

Does anyone know if the zone is broken?
