Default Entry point error

Good day. When I click on eqgame (after follow all the directions) I get the following error:

the procedure entry point _AIL enumerate _3D_providers@12 could not be located in the dynamic link library mss23.dll

i am running win xp with dual core intel processors. latest drivers and directx installed. if more info is needed I will provide. I tried FAQ, searching forums, and googling the problem. all i could find is some people having the same problem with an illegal copy of CoD but no solution was offered. Thanks.

I am not sure if your EQ is even getting to the point to write to the debug file, but you might check the info on this page to make sure you have a supported client:

http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...ClientVersions

I would suggest reinstalling from the CD/DVD (Titanium or SoF) or redownloading the client from Steam. If you got the client elsewhere, we do not support them here.
