Using official website download with eqemu

Hi, i downloaded EQ free to play off the official website. Can i use this version to run eqemulator? because everytime i log into eqemu it wont let me go to the character select screen and everywhere on the web i see it says you need EQ titanium or SoD or SoF and nothing else works. Do i need to download underfoot from steam? because i had trouble finding the link to that also. i just want to play a server that has old school pvp with no more expansions then the velious or luclin expansion.

no, at this moment you cant use the live version.. Now, I'm not 100% sure how up to date that wiki is, but it will give you a good start.
