3rd person camera messes after water exit

Using the 3rd person view it seems to mess up after getting out of water. It is rather hard to describe exactly what it does but it appears to no longer center on your character but now can pass over head if the mouse is moved forward. I remember some way to fix this in game but after years of nonplay, i seemed to forget. It was NOT F9 and cycling through the different views to get 3rd person again. Any help would be appreciated.

Zoom all the way in, will reset the center point. I used to have this issue when I used Titanium.
