Default Error message

Hi guys,
I was playing fine 2 days ago, but yesterday I got this error

"The instruction at 0x02d5f0ce referenced memory at 0xfffffffc. The memory could not be read."

What is this problem? Any hint on how to fix it?

I've been loving playing EQ again after a long absence, would love to get back to Oasis and kill more crocs with my awesome Iskar Necro

Client crashes like that are hard trace.

Give a little more information..like client version, what server you were on, etc...

I've just got the basic EQemu launcher 1.24
I usually play project 1999 but I get the same errors when trying any of the other servers.

Sometimes we'll get lucky and we can trace a client error to some event called in the eqemu server code.

Otherwise, we do not have the ability to trace client errors.

You can help troubleshoot your problem by:

- Not using third-party software
- Trying to connect on another computer
- Creating a new character
- Possibly, creating a new account
- Trying a different server to see if the problem exists there

You could always ask SOE what your client error message means, but I don't think you'll get the response you're looking for...

If you are trying to use the UF client on P99, that is not going to work as they do not support any of the newer clients. You should try other servers and see if it works on them or not. Also, check the FAQ in my sig for some suggestions for issues.
