Question How to make an account in an offline database and login

Hi, I followed this guide to setup a private server: http://www.eqemulator.net/wiki/wikka...rverSetupGuide

Finished the guide, but I wanted to play offline, so I changed eqhost.txt file to [LoginServer]
Host=127.0.0.1:5999

I used to run a private server over 3 years ago, and I remember logging into it. At that time, I had used a program that created an account in my offline database. I don't have those files anymore though.

What do I need to do in order to login to my offline account after starting it using the start.bat file?

I'm asking for a step-by-step solution to "How to make an account in an offline database and login using station name/password"

Thanks

Actually what you want is the EQEmuLoginServer program.

These threads had a little bit of good information.

Also remember, the password will have to be hashed on each account.

Default offline server setup problems

I'm happy to join the EQEmu community again after being away for over 3 years.
I'm trying to have a fully working offline server. I would really appreciate any help.

Using Underfoot client and Minilogin 0.6.2. I tried using the newer EQEmuLauncher to login on my offline server, but I couldn't login at the station username/pass, so went back to minilogin (and I can login with that).

I played the game for about 40 mins, before encountering some big issues.

biggest problem: Every time I Ctrl+click an item, the game crashes to station login. Every time I log back in, that item I control-clicked is removed, as is the entire stack of items it came from.

problem 2: Some database edits are not affecting my server (doesn't make any sense). I edited my database to disable nodrop, and I even did "update items set nodrop = 1;". In game, there are no drop items. In the database, the changes show, they are all disabled. It's puzzling. I did other database changes, like being able to make an iksar ranger and modifying character starting attributes, and those are working. But disabling Loregroup, norent, notransfer, nodrop, those aren't working from what I can tell.

problem 3: Character health won't stay at 100%. I changed Character:SoDClientUseSoDHPManaEnd = true. Health still goes below 100.

problem 4: Wasn't getting exp sometimes for kills. I'm using bots, and have a pet as well. I read there were some changes so that I don't get credit if someone else does more than 50%, but I want to know how to make it so I get exp everytime. I'm not familiar at all with using perl, I just know a little mysql.

problem 5: About half the time, I get stuck at "Logging in to the server. Please wait...." I have to close eqgame.exe and reopen it, and it works.

I feel like a GM of a glass house. It's like my server is vomitting all over itself. Rofl.

I have a dual core PC; Windows XP with SP3, which should resolve the problems. I'm thinking these issues are not dual core related, but I don't know.

Thanks
