So i got my server up and running set the WorldPvpSettings rule to 1 which is RALLOS rules. then i updated the zone table to set all zones to ruleset 1 and when we log into server everyone's name is blue still and no one can attack each other anyone have a fix to get true rallos ruleset working?

Okay, so you set the 'World:PVPSettings' rule in ruleset 1 to '1', logged in (without a restart?), and everyone's name was still blue? Did you #reloadallrules and/or restart the zones that were affected by the changing of all rulesets to 1?

Ok it is for sure the code and not me. i have found a couple of other posts where people are having the same problem, so i thought id try a total fresh install and redid everything with no custom anythings. and i am getting the same response World:PvpSetting is set to 1 which is suppose to be rallos zek like rules. it is set that way on ALL rule sets. server has been rebooted and still the same results. So if anyone who has fixed this problem on the newer revisions of the emu any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You used to need to have a variable (see variables table) with ServerType = 1

OK, you did not mention ServerType previously. You talked about changing RuleType which is different.

I think it is a bit early to say that this is a code problem, since there are servers running PvP. Try changing the client.

Ruletype is changed there is no server type in variables at all just PvP settings in rule_values.

... so you did not set a value for it...

set ServerType to 1

I will not say anything more on the subject.

So the solution was changing all the World:PvpSettings to =1 for all rule sets.

Then going into variables table and ADDING 2 new tables

1st is one named ServerType then set that to 1

2nd is one named PvPReward then set that to what you want based off this post
