Merc Gender Identity Issue

I recently updated my server and database. I kept the old one intact to debug the new one.

When I spawn a Merc Fungusman or Kobold, they appear as male human or female human depending on the merchant's gender. I loaded up my old server and did a #npcstats and discovered for those two Mercs, the gender is set to 2. So I reloaded new server, and when I #gender 2 those two mercs, I get the correct models.

Is this a server code issue?
