Connection issues/error
So I'm trying to access some servers I play on. All 3, so far, have caused a pop up saying 'an unknown error occured while trying to join the server'.
This has happened to Lootfest, Kimura, and Raid Addicts for me.

Doubtful Shendare, this is an issue many people experience, likely just packet loss between you and the loginserver.

Shendare was right lets not blame the people who all ready pay entire too much for service not much better than DSL at a huge price hike premium. ISPs need to get their acts together and finally update their dilapidated network infrastructure. The FCC for all of it babbling hasn't do much toward getting them to adhere really either other than ensuring they no longer throttle content like Netflix. They might have to rename what services they are selling consumers due to it not meeting their new guide lines, but I'm growing more and more skeptical they do much in the end other than just that and laugh their way to the bank as usual.
What we really need is municipal broadband as it's been shown to be clearly working nicely in favor for consumers and frankly close to how ISPs were intended to work when government subsidized copper lines in the first place. It would be great if FCC's target was met and at the same affordable pricing, but realistically not likely to happen by the likes of Comcast and Time Warner monopolies hemorrhaging your pockets.

I'll get my foil hat and we'll camp out in the woods with no technology. Kidding, haha.

Safe to assume for most Comcast has a monopoly in their area.

Yep, I used to work for a company that competed with Comcast and it was a tough business to be in. Their capital is enormous.

Apparently widespread Comcast outages have been seen all across the country recently. And probably not just recently.

Apparently Comcast just launched 2Gbps service in my area. Time to pay the $1000 in fees and $300/mo to upgrade
