Default Mob Races

I can't seem to get spawned mobs to spawn with their correct "race" "texture". They spawn blad humans if nothing else. Can anyone help?

Are you trying to spawn PoP mobs?

Are the spawns local to the zone you're populating (orcs in gfay, frost giants in Kael) or are you trying to put Minotaurs in Neriak? If the mob isn't local to the zone, you won't get the right look.

No I am just having the mobs spawn where they normally would spawn. Yet they lack their own texture.

Default Depending on the MoB and the Zone

You might need to check the gender

Most old world mobs are gender = 2, I think in SoL and higher they are now adding male and female mob textures hence why you can get a he/she response when you hail the gender of a mob rather then a 'It'.

I still have a problem with the damn skele's hand and feet textures but im sure its just my video card cause im to damn lazy to update.

Skeleton and other luclin and newer textures that show up wrong is due to texture cache. Turn off texture cache, delete the cache files from your eq directory(.xtc I think), and turn texture cache back on.

That should fix the problem with skeleton hands/feet showing up weird.
