Default DB Problem - few questions

Hey, just started hosting my own server a few days ago and I have to say the emu is great in general. However, I've been having some problems with the DB and have a couple of questions. Just for reference, I'm currently running v 0.4.1 of the emu with the v 0.3.13 DB addon and v 3.3 admin tool.

First of all, I'm wondering if there is any way to clean up dupe mobs in the DB without going through the entire thing and hand picking them out. If not, is there any way to quickly identify duped mobs or do you have to tediously go through and compare each spawn group (referring to the admin tool, not doing it directly).

Secondly, I've noticed that a number of skills for characters begin at 255/254 for no apparent reason, and I was wondering if there was a way to fix this. I've tried to set the skills back down to 0 with the admin tool, but when I commit changes it just sets them back up again -- very strange problem, bug I assume.

That's about it I think, sorry if these things have been asked before, I did a search for both and came up with nothing relevant (on the first few pgs at least). Anyway, appreciate any help you guys can offer.
