Icons - configure your everquest directory in preferences.
Maps - I wish someone would tell us how to get this working.

There are some (old) map files available for download in the Files section. I think the ZIP file is next to version 2.1 of the admin tool. Unzip the .MAP files into a folder, and point the admin tool to that folder in the Preferences screen.

A better way to do this is to go to the ShowEQ project and download their maps, as they tend to be newer and better (and they have all of them). Go to http://sourceforge.net and search for showeq. Then click on CVS and look for their maps. I don't know if these are exactly the right steps, but they should get you close. Worst case, just go to any search engine and search for showeq maps and you'll probably find them. The .MAP files were originally meant for use with ShowEQ, and rather than reinvent the wheel the admin tool uses the same file format.

The next version of the tool will support the landmark option in the .MAP files (it's not really useful, but I figured why not), with a button to toggle them on or off. It also has some fixes in the way the maps are rendered.
