Default no MOBs in newb zone?

i just joined EQEmu and i logged onto the Forever Hacking server and there were some odd things. there were no MOBs in the newb zone and there were no lifts to kelethin. is this a bug on the client side (my computer) or is it supposed to be that way? if it's supposed to be that way how am i supposed to level up if there are no newb MOBs (bats, bees, etc)?
-Thanks

well at the moment all that is being worked on...its all server side nothing wrong with you. They havent added all the database yet so the only way you can level up is by using

#level 65
#setallskill 252
#summonitem #
#search (name of item)
#race 1-328

sad to say but at this point its all the not so fun way to play :(

some servers are becoming legit though

Default ...

on the contrary, that's why we're here.....

personally i use eqemu solely for equipment comparison, not for levelling or "questing".....if i want to level and play the game, i'll go play on the servers i'm paying for.....

getting really frustrating trying to find a server that allows you to #level yourself, let alone find one with any GMs on at any time. the only stable servers it seems are all legit, and again, if i want to play legit i'll do so on Sony's servers. and there's nothing more frustrating trying to find a server that will stay up, then wait for a gm to bump you to 60 (i've yet to see a non VPU server that will bump you to 65).

I may be stating the obvious, but why dont you run your own server if thats all your interested in instead of trying to beg level 60 out of a gm on another server ?

because i'm on a router.

and if you can make a server work with a router, then i'd certainly like to know how..................

trust me, if i COULD host my own server i would.

and i resent being accused of BEGGING for level 60.............until very recently, this was a matter of course. you logged on your new toon, the GM summoned you WITHOUT you asking, and gave you 60 (and only very recently 65). Don't ASSUME so much......you know what it does.
