my First time trying to get on i get error 1001 please help

I was trying to get on for the first time.. since it was the 1st times i couldn't avoid the patching.. i did get the EQEmu patcher and after i run it it says ok but i still get ting the error "1001 .... " any ideas?

thanks...

i will love to play this game again
