Default Dual Wield is fixed

Edit: They fixed it yesterday (3/21/03)

I put a fire beetle eye in my monk's main hand last night to test Dual Wield (skill 252). He started hitting for 1 point of damage very slowly.

He is now level 62.

Also, I use a 1h blunt in offhand and I never see the message "you crush so and so", I only get "hit" messages from the gharn's rock in mainhand.

Default Getting Spam'd with "duel wield enabled" messages

Every time I hit anything, I get "duel wield enabled" message spam... twice for every attack, plus whatever damage done with my weapon.

The only time I can duel wield weapons is when I loot the weapon off a mob by right clicking it... funny enough, I will wield a second weapon even when I have a 2h weapon in my primary.

When I remove my weapons and start with 1h weapons, I can't get my secondary slot to wield a weapon at all unless I right clicked it from a MOB loot inventory slot.

Anybody else notice this?

Yea, I've noticed that.. When you loot, the autoequip code keeps off and puts it in your second hand without checking if it can be placed there or not.

The dual wield enabled only happens on gm accounts, it's a debug message. If I remember correctly its coming from the mob attack, and not yours.

You have to train dual wield to be able to use it, train it camp log back in and check that it's still trained if it's not trained you class_skill table needs altered.
