please help

OK i set up all the stuff, i got eqw...because i needed it anyways. and now when i go to login it tells me that i have incorrect password of that name does not exist...im using the one i use to log in on forums. And it wont work....any ideas?

ok...i acn get to server select now...but it tells me to run the patcher thing whatever. Well if i do then it will make it so my eqhost.txt file is changed back. What do i do!?

If yer haveing the same problem as i did, you get to server select, pick server then get error 1017. telling you to re run patcher, easy fix for me was, deleted all eqemu downloads and such, created a brand new copy of everquest in c directory, go back to the download of patcher, make triple sure yer loction for save is your everquest directory, once you've finished the download, go to install it, it will ask for the path/file to be installed, it will want to create a new folder/file for it's self, cant do that. click browse and assigne it to your directory again, after install in everquest folder the new patch icon should appear, run it and will auto install all needed updates, while updating yer files click the box Run EQ, wait for it to finish and yer set, EQEmu should start right up. if ya dont want to run it in full screen mode dont click run eq, just let it update and use EQW, just make sure ya change the Host.txt
and make sure the patch box option is un checked in EQW, that will connect to soe servers and mess up your download, and you will have to re patch

OK i got that fixed....now its kicked me to server select after i choose my char and enter world...what do i do now!

Hehe now yer at the same problem i have, got my char made played for awhile did #zone and EQEmu just closed, every time i log on can get to char select then the next loading screen then EQEmu auto closes and im back to desktop, no idea how to fix it yet and havent read anything to helpful

i give up! im gonna wait til beta testing is over! i started not being able to open the patcher. Ill just deal with not having emu still...thx for helpin though!
