Default Patcher works yes or no?

Is anyone getting the patcher to work at the moment?

I've been tryng for 3 days and i'm still getting the message"Can not connect to patch server" and then "Connection terminated".

If someone has got the patcher working can you tell me how the hell you did it? i really want to play this thing. lol

Just replace eqhosts.txt by hand and then launch EQ by creating a shortcut like:

Code:
"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme

There are a lot of people with this same problem. I've been trying for over a month to play EQEMU but because the patcher fails I can not play. Yes, I've tried EVERYTHING thats been sujested on this website.

It would be ideal if somebody could post a link to the files the EQEMU Patcher would normaly download to my PC if it was working correctly.

For some reason people will not do this because it is classed as Warez... /boggle

I wish somebody would have some common sence here and just post a link to the correct versions of the files needed to patch EQ to EQEMU standards!

Good luck...
