Hmmm, never had that error. Did you try re-installing EQ? I know it can be a pain, but it usually helps.

How about post the entire list of things it says instead of just the number?

Default okay...

There was a list, but I had my brother send it over from his computer..now it goes like this:
Quote:
Retrieving file list from patch server...
Checking versions of EQ files...
Autodownloading in 5 seonds...

Patching Files...
Patching eqfecfg.cfg...
Patching eqhost.txt...

All files OK for EQEmu

[pop up]Rum-time error '53':
File not found
That's it

Did you patch eqlive first, then eqemu second?

Try patching eqlive, then eqemu.

Default that worked

yeah, that worked, but now, i have another problemo...

It runs smoothly until after the autodownload of eqecfg.cfg and eqhost.txt is finished downloading, up pops a black screen and..

"Eqgame has caused an error in EQMAIN.DLL
If problem persists, restart computer."

or somethin like that...
it really sucks, and yes, I've restarted my computer (and im running windows ME [messed-up edition])
this sucks =\

EQGame having a problem? I'd say remove EQ, reinstall, patch eqlive, patch eqemu. Sounds tedious, but it should fix it.
