Default noobie, but necessary

Hey,

Ive been reading over a lot of these forums and I really have tried to figure them out, but due to my inexperience with databases im not really sure... what to do...

I just managed to create my own server .. and now im looking for mobs, items, and the like..

I realize that I need to get the databases, and I have downloaded everything, but once I have the downloads.. what do I do with them? I dont really understand how to make the databases with the items or how to include the items and the mobs and the books and the npcs into the game.

Please, if anybody could write up a quick "Noobie Guide" step by step.. it would really make my day...

Thanks in advance, keep up the great work,
Sephik

There exists at least 3 or 4 good noob guides.

N00b Guide 1
N00b Guide 2
N00b Guide 3

None of those guides help. Ive already successfully created my own LAN server .. the problem is that I am missing mobs / items etc and I need to know how to add the databases...

Thanks,
Sephik

Read the guides. All the info on getting the database setup is in there.

Default Database releases

Releases of Databases

Complete list of databases
Hybrid by tcsmyworld
Drawde's

Drawde is a purist trying to build a perfect database to every detail he can muster. tcsmyworld was experimenting with Drawde's release and released his own hybrid. One by telmet also exists, but I don't have the link.

Getting a new error and not sure what went wrong. I read some of the other forums and it seems like others had this problem but the question wasnt answered.

Code:
Using database 'eq' at localhost
[Status] CURRENT_WORLD_VERSION:EQEMu 0.4.4-DR1
[Error] CURRENT_WORLD_VERSION:EQEMu 0.4.4-DR1
Loading Variables, zone names & items...
EMuShareMem.dll loaded.
Loading items from database...
Error in LoadItemStatus query: 'Select id, minstatus from items where minstatus
> 0'
...done.
LoginServer.ini read.
Loading guild ranks...done.
Loading EQ time of day..."./eqtime.cfg" is NOT a vaild EQTime file. File version
is 0; EQTime version is 1000 - failed.
Deleted 0 stale player corpses from database.
Deleted -1 stale player backups from database.
You may already be a winner... of the darwin award.
TCP listening on: localhost:9000
World server listening on: localhost:9000
Connected to LoginServer: localhost:5999
... is what I am getting when I run world.exe... just wondering what is going on with "Error in LoadItemStatus query: 'Select id, minstatus from items where minstatus
> 0'".. is ther any fix?
